Rotary Rocks Scarborough

Some of the Church Wilne Rotary members attend the Rotary District 1220 Annual Conference
30th September to 2nd October 2016

Gary Dundas, Vice President Adrian Perkins and Tony Beenham, who are members of Church Wilne Rotary Club, show off their sticks of rock during a break from the speaker sessions last weekend, when they joined up with other Rotary Clubs from the area to attend the Annual District Conference which this year was held in Scarborough.

Over the weekend more than 1,000 Rotarians were able to hear first-hand about local charities such as the Padley Charity in Derby and the Framework Charity in Nottingham along with the good work they do and how Rotary is helping them survive in this current economic climate.

The Distinct conference gives an opportunity for Rotary Clubs to come together to exchange fundraising ideas and to share the successes that Rotary Clubs achieve on a daily basis, both locally & internationally.
