Church Wilne Rotary Summer Walk

A gentle stroll from Melbourne to Breedon and back

Saturday 6th August 2016 marked the first Summer Rotary Walk for Church Wilne and eight Rotarians and friends enjoyed a circular walk from Melboune to Breedon Church and back.

The weather was very kind to us and everyone who took part mentioned what a super walk it was; through fiends of wheat and oil seed rape, woods with dappled running streams and an interesting AD 844 (and Iron Age site) Church at Breedon on route.

All managed the Breedon hill without mishap and our next walk will be at Christmas which John Cox will be steering us along. This will be of Rotarian style easy going!
