Church Wilne Rotary Members attend the Rotary District 1220 Annual Conference

Church Wilne Rotary Club President Adrian Perkins, along with Vice Presidents Chris Tew and Andy Cartwright, take a laid back attitude to life whilst at Rotary District Conference in Llandudno at the beginning of October.

There were 8 members of the club who attended. The conference programme was full and varied. It was also informative and in many instances very, very funny!

District Conference is an opportunity for members to find out about how Rotary projects nationally and internationally are making a difference.

In addition to the Rotary projects, there are other very informative speakers such as Andy Cope who told us about 'The Art of Being Brilliant' and that we should be always wearing our 'Happy Pants'.

Malcolm Well kept us laughing with his talk about the training programme for Canine Partners.

Whilst Geoff Miller (Former Derbyshire and England cricketer and England cricket test selector) had us in stitches with tales from a life in cricket!

It is also an opportunity for presidents from different clubs to get together and share ideas!.....
