Members of Church Wilne Rotary attend Remembrance Day Services
11th November 2018

Members of Church Wilne Rotary, together with the Draycott Village Fund, helped with the collection which raised just short of £500 for the Royal British Legion. The event was supported by approximately 500 people.

This was followed by the laying of wreathes at the War Memorial in Draycott.

Rtn Rev'd Gary Dundas commented:
"Thank you for attending such a memorable occasion at the War Memorial today in Draycott. Approximately 500 people came along to share this Remembrance Service for our village. We are proudly able to send the collection of £495.85 to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. We are grateful to Draycott Parish Council for organising and supporting this community event. It was amazing how many people managed to squeeze into Draycott Scout HQ for refreshments afterwards - thank you Scouts"
