Eco Greenhouse - Ashbrook School

September 2019

Church Wilne Rotary Club recently built an Eco Greenhouse at Ashbrook Junior School, Borrowash with the help of three Tesco Long Eaton colleagues. The Greenhouse is constructed with 1,400 recycled 2 litre plastic bottles which had been collected by the children over the previous few months.

Rotarian Adrian Perkins commented on how good it is to give something back to the community whilst doing something positive for the environment. He went on to say this is an ongoing project.

We would like to thank the Tesco colleagues for all their help in building the greenhouse as well as the members and friends who achieved the construction in a day.

Church Wilne Rotary Club is attracting new members through various initiatives, associate membership, satellite clubs and Friends of Rotary, where people can help with running some of our events to get a taste of what it would be like to join the Club.
