Church Wilne Rotary host Hinnerup Rotary Club
A Weekend of Fun, Friendship and Functions

Waiting for the Heritage Tour of Shardlow

The Church Wilne Rotary Club welcomed many members and wives from the Hinnerup Rotary Club over the long bank holiday weekend, with three days company of their Danish friends. The club provided a well run, fulfilling, entertaining weekend from arrival and pickup at Stansted on the Friday morning to our return drive from Stansted to Derby late Sunday evening.

The Clock Warehouse provided great support, from the sunny reception Friday afternoon, magical enjoyable evening meal Friday night to our Sunday afternoon farewell following our very informative guided tour of Shardlow.

The club hosts also provided a warm stay for their guests over the weekend and also provided Saturday entertainment, from a trip around the Courts of Justice in Nottingham, walk around Crich and the gardens of the Peak District, Draycott brewery and the colourful visit to the Premier League champions ground and final resting place of our King Richard III. On the Saturday evening, additional club hosts provided an enjoyable social evening to the Danish guests, their hosts and fellow club members.

A huge thank you to the International team and all participating club members for providing a well supported, enjoyable weekend which we hope will be well received by Hinnerup members who didn't participate on this weekend's visit and goes well to improving the twinning theme for the future.

Church Wilne Rotarians and families look forward to their return visit to Hinnerup in 2018 under the leadership of Adrian Perkins.
