The Rotary Club of Church Wilne recently welcomed Adrian Perkins to its speaker evening. This was a little unusual as Adrian is also our president elect and he had to welcome himself to the meeting and then thank himself for giving a talk.

Adrian gave a fascinating and highly entertaining talk on his long journey to becoming a Rotarian. It started at school, even then Adrian concentrated on helping others and has been a pillar of the Draycott community from those early days. We learnt of his days in the merchant navy along with an active participation in a local dance troupe who toured Europe, even performing Cossack dancing in the Ukraine
