Church Wilne Rotary President Adrian Perkins recently presented Borrowbrook Home Link with a cheque for £500.00 to support them with their good work within the community.

Borrowbrook Home Link supports the older adults of Ockbrook and Borrowash in maintaining independent lives in the community.

They were formed in 2002 after a study group including some of the current trustees identified serious problems with loneliness, isolation, lack of confidence and self-esteem and an inability for the older adults to remain independent in their own homes.

President Adrian said "It's with great pleasure that Rotary is able to help such a worthwhile organisation".
