Speaker Meeting 27th July 2020 |
|
Despite the impact of the Coronavirus the Rotary Club of Church Wilne regular Zoom Speaker meetings continue to go from strength to strength. During Mondays Zoom meeting, the members listened to a fascinating presentation by dental student, Laura Cook, who will be going into her 4th year at the University of Leeds, on how we can all help to maintain our oral health through the Coronavirus period. With non-emergency dental appointments unable to go ahead due to coronavirus, Laura discussed, the importance of a good oral hygiene routine, multiple techniques that can be used to remove dental plaque, dietary advice, and instruction on alcohol consumption. Key points for us all to remember: The club were eager to implement their new knowledge of good oral health practice. |
