Firfield Primary School - Eco Greenhouse |
|
Church Wilne Rotary recently supplied & built their fourth ECO Greenhouse, this time at Firfield Primary School in Breaston. The cost of the materials was kindly donated by Evans Pharmacy of Breaston, Breaston Parish Council and Breaston Co-op. The idea for the Eco greenhouse was presented to Year 6 teacher Carol Lawson by her pupil Evie Broderick, granddaughter of Rotarian Susie Collins who leads this ongoing project. Carol Lawson went on to say; The Eco Greenhouse project helps awareness of environmental issues and will bring the children closer to nature with an opportunity to see crops grow. The school was also presented with a £250 Collyer's Nursery voucher to help them with their horticultural journey. |
