Paul gave us a potted history of his career, so we know a little more about our next President.

It all started back in Ashford in Kent, when he was 16, with his first job, as a sheet metal worker he studied at Canterbury College. A keen interest in sport lead him to fall under the spell of a career in the Army, getting paid to travel the world while enjoying, skiing, diving, kyaking, mountaineering etc. So a visit to the Army Careers Office, in Aldershot in 1979, resulted in him joining the Army.

A varied career with extensive travel followed, including stints in Aldershot, Northern Ireland, Germany, etc.

Paul, always keen to sign up to opportunites and training, became a talented trainer in many areas.

A time working in close protection of the Chief of the Defence Staff followed.

After 20 years, Paul left the army to pursue a career in Business Development. The first job as International Development Manager at UK Trade and Investment was followed by futher opportunites in Business Development Sales.

Last year Paul and Diane were Married.
